- Precise reproduction of all details of the original instrument
- Mono- and duophonic as well as up to 16-voice polyphonic voice mode
- Unison function in monophonic and duophonic mode
- Two oscillators with different waveforms
- Modulation, S+H and sub-octave settings
- VCO1 with sawtooth, triangle and modulable pulse wave and VCO2 with square wave and sawtooth wave
- Adjustable pitch-bend depth, octave shift with +/- 2 octaves, glide function and mixable noise generator
- True-to-the-original four-pole filter, based on the original cascaded OTA filter SSM2040 with precise reproduction of the independent resonance behaviour
- Two envelopes with ADSR and AR characteristics respectively
- Tempo-synchronous LFO with start delay
- Tempo-synchronous, quantisable classic two-row step sequencer with keyboard control and eight steps that can be independently assigned to the oscillator pitches, filter cut-off frequency and VCA amplitude
- Internal effects section with distortion, phaser, flanger / chorus, echo and reverb with five reverb algorithms
- Supports channel pressure as well as polyphonic aftertouch and MPE support
- Full MIDI control and DAW automation
- Over 300 presets
- Switchable between original and later SRM versions
- Scalable user interface with focus zoom-in function as well as standard interface zoom and resize by dragging
