Par DOVE JONATHAN. Man, Woman, Child by Jonathan Dove is an 18-minute song cycle with texts by Australian poet Judith Wright comprising of six songs for Mezzo-soprano, Baritone and Piano. They tell the story of a man, coming home from war, who meets a woman in a wine bar: it ends with the voice of the child that emerges from this union. Commissioned to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Samling Institute for Young Artists and dedicated to all those who have shared with us their love of words and music.
