The wonderful Concerto For Alto Saxophone And Concert Band composed in 1967 was commissioned by the Cornell Wind Ensemble. Whilst the main purpose of the reduction for solo and Piano is as a preparatory study for Ensemble performance it may be used in recital in its present form.
