TOUEI is the pleasure, the friends, the happiness, the serenity, to which the image of the lakecorresponds. The changes do not want to imitate Asian models in terms of rhythm or melody, but rather remain in the language conventions of Western music in the sound material. The bridging to Chinese music succeeds above all through the use of the sheng (one of the oldest musical instruments) and the formal implementation of the given spiritual principles in tonal growth processes.
