Two poems of Friedrich Holderlin bearing almost the same title form the basis of the text for 'Zwei Lieder' (Two Songs): 'Die Aussicht' and 'Aussicht'. Unlike as with common musical settings of poems, Detlev Muller-Siemens has split the vocal part in two levels.
