This large-scale composition (for large organ) is a full-scale recital piece on the well-known hymn tune Rendez a Dieu. The American Organist (Nov 2001) provides the following review of the work: ...a blockbuster of a recital piece, over 20 minutes in length, beginning quietly with a lush harmonic texture, but moving into a brisk toccata-like movement. A quieter movement separates this from the final virtuosic finale, also reflecting the French toccata style.
