Our goal was not only to design an amp which sounds fantastic and is easy to operate, but also to build it in such a way that it will serve you loyally for many years to come. That's why the Classictone II is based around the rich harmonic textures of the iconic EL84 tube. EL84's are known for having a nice warmth and a creamy breakup at fairly low volumes. The pre-amp houses two vintage voiced channels, clean and overdrive, with a boost on the overdrive. We added a balanced recording output, fx loop and speaker on/off switch to meet today's players demands.
