The Symphony No.1 in C Major (Op. 21) was first performed in 1800 and published in 1801. It is scored in four movements: Adagio molto Allegro con brio; Andante cantabile con moto; Menuetto: Allegro moltoe vivace; Adagio Allegro molto e vivace.Ludwig van Beethoven (1770 1827) was a German composer and pianist and arguably the most famous composer of all time. He was the last great figure of the Classicalera and helped pave the way for the Romantic style that followed.
