There! I’ve Said It Again is a classic of the Rock and Roll era. It was written in 1945 by the American lyricist Redd Evans (1912-1972) and songwriter David Mann (1916-2002) and first recordedin the same year by the baritone and bandleader Vaughn Monroe (1911-1973). However it is best remembered for the 1963 version by Bobby Vinton (b.1935) which topped the American charts for four consecutiveweeks. It was the last American song to reach No. 1 before the Beatlemania arrived and took over heralding a new era of British imports.
