Baroque Violin Pieces is a four-volume graded anthology which acts as an introduction to the style and repertoire of Baroque music for solo Violin and Continuo. The editor's aim has been to select immediately attractive pieces which are at the same time of educational value in style and technique. The contents of each volume are arranged roughly in order of difficulty. The pieces in this volume Book 1 are of Grade 2 standard and progress in difficulty over the first three books. This volume has been edited by Richard Jones. The solo violin part is also included on a separate insert.
