(orig. für Klavier in As-Dur)-Haydn did not write many compositions for the Flute in fact out of his 469 works only 6 were composed for the Flute. This piece is based on the Piano Sonata in A and was transposed by Doris Geller into the key of C in order to take full advantage of the Flute's compass. Scored for Flute with Piano accompaniment.
