Miniaturas is a suite for piano solo made up of eight movements that evoke brief strong images from childhood, the kind of children scenes in which the composer has mixed up together three fragments written at the end of the 1940s ("Preludio", "Improvisacion" and "Danza") with the others written in 2005.
