Fritz Fuhrmeister is not listed in any standard musical reference books. According to F. Pazdirek's Universal-Handbuch der Musikliteratur Aller Zeiten und Volker, he composed other works, including Waltzer (opus 2) for piano duet, other works for piano duet, along with a large number of leider, most of which were published by very small publishing companies whose names are not familiar to the editors: Eisoldt, Bernard Siegel, Koeppen and Dr. Stern. Similarly, the original publisher of this facimile is not well known: Giessel.
