The Piece Farthest Shore was expertly composed by British composer, Paul Mealor . Farthest Shore was commissioned by the John Armitage Memorial Trust, St Davids Festival and Edinburgh Royal Choral Union, and first performed at St Cuthbert's Church, Edinburgh, conducted by Michael Bawtree . Mealor was catapulted to international attention when 2.5 billion people heard his motet, Ubi caritas , performed at the Royal Wedding Ceremony of His Royal Highness Prince William and Catherine Middleton at Westminster Abbey, 29th April 2011. |
