'Parafonia' is by no means a completion; rather, it is a very subjective continuation of a narration which makes a point of the fragmentary. Thus the material is exposed, newly spliced and repeatedly illuminated in different ways. Mozart himself took up the beginning of the adagio melody in his motet 'Ave verum' – this continued development is also narrated.
