Pichintunes para Piano is a series of short musical pieces. Its main goal is to initiate young people in dodecaphonic serial music. The title of this work comes from the mapuche word pichi, which means little. This word derives to pichicultrun, which comes from the word cultrun (drum). Pichi has been incorporated to Chilean Spanish, other words like pichiruque (trivial). However, another title for my work could be bagatela.
