Eight melodies from Vincenzo Bellini's 1831 tragedia lirica opera Norma are used to create this virtuosic fantasy for clarinet and piano. Appearing out of sequence from their original order within the opera, the themes are presented with a high degree of embellishment in Antonio Spadina's operatic fantasy.
